lately i’ve been feeling like my skin needs a good exfoliation and overall detox. With the changing wEather, stress of moving in 2 weeks and being sIck, im in need of some serious skin rejuvination.
Over the last 6 months it feels like I have spent more time up in an airplane than in my own home. At one point, I flew back from Europe, the next day flew to San Diego and 3 days later flew back into Seattle for my sisters Bachelorette party. Although I LOVE to fly, my body, mind and SKIN we’re exhausted. I’ve listed below a few of my top travel skincare essentials to keep my skin happy and healthy!
Red Earth Beauty is a Melbourne based skincare brand that created products to keep ladies beautiful “on the go.” Who doesn’t love a good raw ingredient, clean packaged beauty brand? What I loved most about this brand is not only their simple packaging but the ingredients that were in these effortless bottles. Each product contains raw ingredients derived from well, the earth. What’s not to love?!
I had the pleasure of trying out some of their products. Red Earth sent me their DEEP DIVE water cream, DEEP DIVE thirst quenching water essence, BRIGHTEN concentrate oil, 3 individual lipstick match cases & 3 face masks. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of products I was being given to try!
Our skin does so much, protecting our entire being, and is the larger organ our bodies have, so shouldn’t we treat it with the much needed love and respect it deserves?
We all love the feeling of going to bed with a fresh, clean face. I’ve outlined my nightly skincare regimen in an Instagram video HERE. Although my routine changes based on the time in my cycle, the weather and just what my skin is needing, I still stick to the same routine: cleanser, exfoliant (2-3x weekly), toner, serum or oil and moisturizer. Our skin does so much, protecting our identity being, so shouldn’t we treat it with the much needed love and respect it deserves?
Ahh, summertime. The time of year where walking around in a bikini top is acceptable, leaving your hair in a salty, wavy mess is preferred and your skin is warm from the hot summer sun. On the other hand, all these fun "summertime beauty" routines can be fun and well, attractive, but have you taken the measures to protect yourself against the long-term damage that can come with these short-term beauty changes?
Here's a quick note on my beauty savers for a flawless (and harmless) summertime look!
