cheers to Friday...For this weeks Friday Favorites I have chosen the items I have been most frequently grabbing while in quarantine, especially for my self care Friday! Jo malone wood sage + sea saltOk. This is hands down my favorite everyday scent EVER. It has such a nice light + airy smell that isn't overpowering, smells clean, fresh + is a great scent to tone down overpowering perfumes. Lately, since we aren't leaving the house + I don't need to wear my nice fragrance daily, I have been using this on my self care days when I need a bit of a mood refresh or want to feel pampered. Fun fact! Jo Malone scents are meant to be paired 5 or more at a time!! Frank Body Coconut coffee scrubI have tried quite a few different scrubs + Frank Body takes the win for best coffee scrubs NO DOUBT! Not only are the vegan, clean, cruelty-free + have the best packaging, the product does exactly what it says it will. This one specifically is meant to hydrate, firm + exfoliate. The grapeseed + coconut oils leave a really silky soft hydrated feel to the skin. The jojoba beads and coffee grounds stimulate blood flow to the skin while exfoliating leaving a smooth, refined glowing bod. I've tried + love all of Frank's scrubs but their OG scrub is a must-have! FRANK BODY GLOW MASKAnother go-to product for me but I especially love using this mask on self care days because its a thick formula that feels incredibly gentle + hydrating on the skin. I also love that I can use this as an overnight mask if needed because it doesn't clog pores + absorbs nicely into the skin with no leftover unpleasant feeling. Thanks to the coffee seed oil + goji berry extract my skin is brighter, visibly more awake and has a much healthier glow to the skin after using. Biossance squalane + peptide eye gelFun fact about eye creams, we actually shouldn't use them! Creams can be very comedogenic for the small oil gland under our eyes so using a gel eye cream like Biossances' won't irritate these little glands! Of course, everyone is different and if you have an eye cream you love, keep at it! I have a few I love to use that are cream as well but this is a great option for repairing + hydrating the skin around the eye without clogging pores. The gel consistency offers a bit of cooling, spreads evenly into the skin without having to warm or work in for long periods of time. Mad Hippie Vitamin C serumMad Hippie uses the vitamin c derivative, SAP (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), which is a very stable form; because of this the product lasts longer + doesn't oxidize as quickly. The product itself absorbs really nicely into the skin without leaving any film or residue (even when used with primer), has a powerful blend of antioxidants so you are receiving more skin benefits than solely vitamin c.
